Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (or PCOS) is a condition also known as Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD).
It affects an estimated 6-10% of all women and most don't even know they have it.

- PCOS is not completely curable but can be treated by medications, improved weight, changes in diet and exercise.
- PCOS has been identified for 75 years and was previously known also as Stein-Leventhal Syndrome and they still aren't sure what causes it.
- PCOS affects not only fertility and reproduction but also other parts of a woman's body.
